Some people don't vote--- and that's a good thing. The last thing we need are un-educated voters MASSING to the polls (ahem, ahem, MTV's ROCK THE VOTE...)
As an example, my sister's old friend Brett once said: "I'm voting for the democrats because democracy is the only way to go."
Apparently (thanks to Main-stream Media, I'm sure) his only education in politics was the name of party. I didn't have the heart to tell him that either party would operate within a democratic-republic.
I wonder what he would say if he knew that those same people he voted to Maine congress took half of his paycheck to pay the cops that busted him for weed (oh, AND not wearing his seat-belt... but we've talked about THAT issue before).
I would LOVE if every American took an educated part in politics, but if you're not going to be educated, please don't vote.
For those of you who know Justin Reed, that's his stance. He feels that he's not educated enough on any of the issues, so he doesn't take a stance either way. I'd love if he took an interest, but, failing that, I respect his not-voting.
