"John Kerry’s priority will be middle class families who are working hard to cover the mortgage, pay the high cost of health care, child care and tuition, or just trying to get ahead.
The first thing John Kerry will do is fight his heart out to bring back the three million jobs that have been lost under George W. Bush. He will fight to restore the jobs lost under Bush in the first 500 days of his administration. Kerry has proposed creating jobs through a new manufacturing jobs credit, by investing in new energy industries, restoring technology, and stopping layoffs in education.
John Kerry has a plan to secure America’s economic future and ensure that workers can achieve the American dream in our changing economy. John Kerry has the courage to roll back Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans so we can invest in education and healthcare. He isn’t afraid to crack down on corporations that are hiding their money in Bermuda to avoid paying their fair share and will end special tax giveaways to companies that ship jobs abroad. And he will defend the rights of workers, consumers and shareholders in holding corporations accountable for their actions." -www.johnkerry.com
Can you find anything wrong with this, conservative-biased, Marcea? Tee-hee. Let's just agree that both of them are lying scum-bags, but that I would prefer the lying scum-bag who pretends to care about the environment and our national image whereas you prefer the lying scum-bag who pretends to care about security and the economy.
What is Bush's current approval rating? How far below 50% is it? Last I checked it was around 47%. Oh, and where's Osama? Did you know that the official full-out search for Osama Bin Ladin didn't start in the CIA until last week? I could go on for hours... but then again, I'm sure you would fire back Kerry-slander just as quickly. I think this year I'm going to vote for Nader, but only because he was on Ali-G in 2000 and busted this rap about saving the rain forests.
Unregardless, visit all of the websites and just vote for whomever you think would do the better job. I think the best part is that our country is still 50-50 divided. With a perfect split like that the only things that can get passed are ACTUALLY in the best interest of the American people.
Personally, I'd like to see Bush ousted from office just so that I don't have to apologize to everyone I meet for being an American.
"Hey, Zac I want you to meet John from Toronto...
John, Zac's an American."
[John makes a funny face.]
"Nice to meet you, John, and yes, I'm sorry that my nation is full of a bunch of war-mongering imperialists... no, I didn't vote for him."
