I've started actually doing school work as of late... it sucks. The physics is confusing and boring, the calc is just long, and I'm not sure if/what I have to have done and for when.
Overall, university is confusing...
I've been spending way too much money on everything, but its too much fun not to go out and have a few beers with your friends.
The people here are great. I love them all. Even the girl next door, whom I first thought was a bitch, is now hanging out with us.
I guess my biggest "issue" of late has been women... and more specifically, Natalie. We've been having some issues and some rough spots, and I don't really want to get into it, but we'll see.
Also, I've perfected my French swearing which is always good for a laugh back home-- my favorite, by far, is:
y calvair de Christ d'ostie de tabernacle!
Today on the way back from calc I walked past the construction site for the new bio building, and I actually heard some workers swearing like that. It was great. I looked over and laughed and I think one of them saw me...lol.
I've been talking to/going out with this girl I met during Frosh week, Marie, and she's been working on my french.
So soon I need to do my calc work, go to more classes, buy some things (beer, milk, beer, bread, beer...) etc. etc.
oh, and my Greek Mythology class makes me miss Mrs. Lienau more than anything in the world. It's funny for me to think that at a school such as McGill, where the classics department sucks, Lienau would be a way better teacher than my profs. :(
So I'll drink one for the kids at GW, the kids back home, and everyone else in between (and Lauren, who's not between, but out there somewhere).
