you know what's kinda really really crazy? the fact that people read this who i don't really know. i know that they must cause i read some people's who i don't really know-when i'm really bored or when sam hasn't posted like 5 times per day. so yeah it kind of blows my mind (in a neutral way), that people read this who aren't more directly affiliated. like if you don't ever see your name in my posts or zac's. my intent isn't to go all crazy and be like, don't read this if you don't know me (whatever, like you wouldn't), but i was just commenting on how it's weird. i know of almost 25 blogs/journals online, which is pretty crazy in itself. sooo read away, and i'll just guess who knows these sometimes weird, sometimes boring, sometimes interesting ramblings that we continue to produce. like when i'm at school i can't help but wonder. i know we don't have the fan base of Sam, but still. when it comes down to it, i could care less that people read this. that is the point, and if you don't know me and want to read it anyways,,,whatever
in other news, the talent show. much talent, some lack of talent. i tend to like everything, but a few threw me off. i'll try and seperate it into caregories.
IAEFT: i am embarassed for them
the guy who did nsync. what was he thinking... he didn't even break it down
the girl who wrote her own song, etc. like yes it must have taken so much courage to get up there and sing her own stuff, but i felt so bad that she kept messing up. and that she was all EARNEST about it...
that little tiny girl who sang. she was so awkward... awww
IJDK: i just don't know
the piano thing. celie does it better..
CILI: cool i love it (this is where the 'i like everything' thing comes in.)
the first band with ryan and ben and ben, they were good and i hear ryan wrote the song, which rocks. ryan has really good stage presence and talent
the phish cover. although i didn't love it as much as zac and seth... it was good
sean leddy's band, although it's not really my type of music i thought they were really good, sean really knows how to work the crowd and he can actually sing well (and lost enough weight that i noticed...and got a hair cut. both good things). and sam woodworth on the drums was great, he was so into it, he looked so pissed. definitely a future there
ok, all of the bands. gavin's band perhaps needed some work cause i couldn't understand a word (though that may have been due to sam yelling at the stage to my right)
SBIDLI: sorry but i didn't like it
country. i see ashley as having a country singing future. how did she win second?
the preamble about jesus. the song was actually not that bad, but the preamble just threw away the audience.
etc:
i thought that gina's piece was good, she can actually sing, and it sucked the mike broke or whatever. too bad it wasn't louder.
um yeah ok that's about it. oooh i heard that most of the people in the bands were stoned the whole time which i thought was pretty damn funny. speaking of that...why have we not had a party in two weeks? there are like 4 birthdays in february (CAITLIN IS 18 TOMORROW), and we need to have a party. and i have alterior motives.... yeahh....
