i think the problem with online is that it never really seems real. like you laugh online but it's only "hahaha" you don't get to see the person. or you'll have an tight talk, but the next day you see them, and it doesn't matter. or you'll be sad about something, or happy, but there's no tone, so you have to reduce yourself to saying everything you need to say outright.... it's just kind of weird.
