my ears are still ringing... ok so sucks to be that guy who has to stand in front of the stage and hauls off the crowd-surfers... the staff can't smile or even look at anyone. lame. saves the day was obviously sweet. reminiscent of warped tour, kind of. remember those guys in the reel big fish pit? well yeah, there was this blond guy who reminded me of them--although he was wearing a shirt--who saved my life several times by not allowing the crowd to push me over the edge. so hot, as we so avidly discussed post-concert. and he knew all the words to the best songs.....yeah. std told us to stop pushing, though, and also stop crowd surfing before i got a chance, which was too bad. the lead singer had kind of kurt cobain/alex-before-he-cut-it kind of hair. blond and long and in his eyes, it was pretty sweet though, he'd jump around and it'd go crazy. the drummer totally reminded me and dana of paul, i kept thinking it was paul. paul, for when you get back from vegas, prolly richer than all of us, you should be a drummer. the guy was hardcore, though, going all over the place and he kept smiling, it was great. i got a shirt, but not wanting to be that girl who wears the band shirt at that band's concert i put it on underneath. we saw some hardcore sxe people there...and not as much weed as is at most state theater productions (none for us). it was a good time, and the opening bands didn't suck, in slight accordance w/ sam's 'the opening bands are either mediocre of awesome' thing. it's cool how at concerts any conception that you have that you might get personal space is completely gone. it's basically one big orgy with clothes and everyone loves it. except if you happen to be next to the fat guy (the one who loves jill, especially... were you at warped tour you know what i mean)... i'm usually stuck behind some tall guy and i try and drop hints about not being able to see but they can't hear me... but not this time.
right so sats obviously suck, and i'm psyched i'm done forever. i was pretty tired but it didn't feel that different than last time. a little crazy but what's the point of being bored...especially before sats.
